I am on a continual hunt to find some aspec rep for myself, and this is some of what I've come up with. These are not official recommendations since I haven’t read most of them, but they exist and I’ve put several of them on my own TBR list.These are largely books I haven’t seen frequently passed around on other rec lists (so you won't find the likes of Loveless here), and I’ve done my best to confirm that the rep is aspec. Books that I have read are starred, and you are welcome to ask me about them. Books that I've written reviews for have links in the description.For anyone who has read a book listed here, feel free to share your thoughts or correct me if I’ve gotten something wrong. You are also welcome to recommend books to me on the blog.Just because an author is not specified to be ace or aro does not necessarily mean they are allo. I include that info if I happen to come across it, but I am not going out of my way to track down the identities of every single author.This is by no means a comprehensive list of books containing aspec characters. Books are included on this list fully at my own discretion. As previously stated, I've excluded books that I've seen on multiple rec lists. I shall also exclude a book for poor handling of other topics; for example, whorephobia or fatphobia that appears to be from the author's own bias and goes unchallenged or unacknowledged in the text.That does not mean there is no grappling with heavy topics. Many of these books contain themes or scenarios that may be triggering for some readers. I will occasionally mention in a description if a book contains certain heavy themes, but my priority is detailing the aspec rep. If you find certain topics upsetting to read, it is your responsibility to do the research necessary to determine if a book is appropriate for you and to proceed into a story at your own discretion.Happy reading!~Mod Q
